Ancient texts describe how yoga was taught one-on-one, passing knowledge and experience from teacher to student. Understanding the importance of personalizing yoga to meet the unique needs of each individual, I offer private yoga or private group classes for new, continuing and experienced students.
A private yoga session moves at your pace, and addresses your unique needs. Instead of following along with the yoga instructor in a class setting, a private lesson allows us to set specific goals and plans, such as personal goals for flexibility, strength or meditation. If you are looking to try yoga for the first time, returning from an injury, or maybe want to build confidence to join group classes - private sessions may be part of your yoga journey.
